Stallholders 2012

#Local4Lent event 2012 in the Corn Exchange, Leeds

There was a great range of food, art and craft stalls at the first ever #Local4Lent event held in Leeds Corn Exchange last year so we just wanted to share them with you. We also had the pleasure of live music from musician Dan Burnett and local artist Steve Blaylock exhibited his iconic Blue Peter Ship sculpture too. For pictures of the event please pop over to our Facebook page.

A personal collection of carefully sourced and created vintage, retro and up-cycled gifts; from scarves and jewellery, to vintage glassware. I have worked within the fashion industry since 1981, and my love for all things vintage has led me to create Fanni Loves Fufu. I like to ensure that each item I source or craft is in working order, cleaned and repaired where necessary and beautifully presented together with free gift wrapping if required! (This lovely lady - Jayne Carle - helped organise the #local4lent event in the Corn Exchange and introduced us to some great local crafters too!)

Saving household items and trinkety things from a life of landfill, and bringing them to the masses as one of a kind designs! All products are lovingly refurbished and will never be replicated!

Lots of little treasures lovingly handcrafted for your little one. Cushions, quilts, taggy's, bespoke clothing and lots more!

I design and create gorgeous handcrafted items from my home in North Yorkshire.  My range includes personalised bunting, cushions and baby gifts as well as accessories for the home. Each item is made with love and attention to detail and many include 'rescued' clothing, buttons and embroidery.

Dunk Soap
Natural cleansing bars of soap hand-crafted in Yorkshire. Using our traditional recipe of natural, organic Palm (RSPO approved), coconut and olive oils, we add fragrance oils and botanicals such as lavender, flower petals and seeds to ensure our soap is fresh and lively rather than simply strong. As well as fresh soap cut straight from the loaf we handmake a range of visually fab dunkcakes (soap cupcakes) and chocolate brownies. An alternative to mass produced soaps with no synthetic bases or additives. All our soaps are vegetarian friendly and not mass produced. Our soaps are as natural on the outside as all the packaging has been designed by dunk and is 100% recyclable, suitable for the environmentally conscious. Gift sets may include natural beeswax candles, sustainably sourced wooden soap dishes; nailbrushes with natural bristles, natural loofahs, sisal soap sacks and authentic Dead Dea salts.

"Yorkshire Honey is gathered from approximately 300 hives in fields and moors across the Yorkshire Countryside before being taken to our honey house in Scampston for extraction''. The charming village of Scampston has been our base since 1990 although we have kept bees here since 1974. The apiaries are sited in the Vale of Pickering on the Wolds and in the Howardian Hills and are moved to the North Yorkshire Moors for the Ling Heather. We also supply bees for the pollination of borage (starflower) in East Yorkshire."

Click N Mix is one of those silly ideas you have while drinking in your local pub with a friend who, like you, has too much time on his hands. Whilst there are many places to buy sweets on the internet, they are all a little boring.
